Welcome

Bignold Park is a modern purpose built, Supported Residential low Care facility. Registered with the Department of Human Services, Victoria under the Health Services Act, 1988, providing 24 hours residential care. Locally owned and operated, there are no ingoing fees or bonds required. Bignold Park receives no financial assistance from Federal, State or Local Government.

Each room is carpeted with built in or free standing wardrobes and the rooms are tastefully furnished. Residents can, if desired, bring some of their own favourite pieces of furniture to make their room more “homely”. The rooms are also equipped with a temperature controlled heating system and ceiling fans in each room for cooling.

Furthermore, our continuous professional relationship with general practitioners, medical officers, assessment teams and other community based organisations is used to effectively monitor our residents’ health status and general well being.

Mission Statement

It is our mission at Bignold Park S.R.S to provide care in a welcoming and relaxed environment for residents. Our role is to extend to promoting the health and well being of all residents, and to strive to develop and maintain a personal relationship with family and friends, in an ongoing effort to fulfil resident and respective family needs.

We cater for a maximum of 30 residents.

At Bignold Park we believe our residents are entitled to the provision of personalised care which meets their emotional, spiritual, physical, social and intellectual needs while respecting each resident’s privacy, dignity and independence.

Bignold Park will provide the appropriate care to meet the requirements of each resident and believes in ensuring individualised and genuine care.

We strive to provide an environment that will encourage each resident to maintain their health, well being and sense of community.
